March 26 thru April 11, 2021 - Online Performance

Karlovsky & Company Dance presents the digital premiere of INTERWOVEN available for online viewing from March 26 through April 11, 2021. INTERWOVEN brings to life choreographic nature-inspired landscapes through this evening-length production that involves multifaceted collaboration and integration of contemporary dance-theater, live music, spoken word, and visual art.

INTERWOVEN is Karlovsky & Company Dance’s main-stage streaming concert inspired by the language of trees and the book The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. This new work offers an abstract reflection on our humanity, community, and our communication and connection with nature and our environment.

Concept and Choreography: Dawn Karlovsky, Artistic Director

Live and recorded sound scores: Kalo Hoyle and Tory Starbuck

Stage Design/Visual Art: Dr. Hatt Manikin Me (aka Dr. Bill Russell)
