AUDITIONS for 2022/23 Season - Dance with us!
2022-23 marks Karlovsky & Company Dance’s 10th season creating and presenting innovative dance in St. Louis! We are looking for experienced, advanced level contemporary modern dancers (all identities) who are versatile, athletic movers, and who enjoy the investigative creative process and somatically inspired movement experiences.
Dancers should be proficient in improvisation, modern dance movement languages, and contemporary partnering work via contact improvisation.
The season includes performances and educational programs held in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Dancers will need to be available to begin rehearsals starting Sunday June 5, 2022. If your schedule permits it, please start company class with us prior to June 5th.
Here’s what’s involved:
Dancers receive stipends for all performances including mainstage concerts, festivals, site-specific community performances, for participation in education programs, and for choreographic contributions.
Class and Rehearsals are held on Sundays 4pm-7:30 and Mondays 6:30pm – 9:30, (depending on the project, an additional day may be added to this schedule.)
Full access to the company’s Summer Somatics Series with opportunities to energize your training, deepen movement awareness, and develop skills for self-care.
