In this combined lecture/performance, Karlovsky & Company Dance discuss the subject of non-verbal communication exhibiting the direct and indirect ways that we express ourselves through gesture, touch, and body language.
Karlovsky & Company Dance hosts the 13th Annual Dine on Dance Lunchtime Performances. These FREE outdoor performances feature site-specific dance by local choreographers R. Vance Baldwin, Alice Bloch, Ashley Tate, Gabriella Deakin, Dawn Karlovsky, and Rafael Tilery with live musical accompaniment by Rick Kramer and Tory Z Starbuck .

KARLOVSKY & COMPANY DANCE create an elusive performance of dance excerpts and short movement studies as they interact with space, shadow and light.
St Lou Fringe presents the inaugural Microtheatre performances in a pop-up theatre in the Urban Chestnut Brewing Company biergarten in Grand Center. Pint-sized and culturally delicious, Microtheatre shows are fully realized performances that take place in less than 20 minutes for no more than thirteen people at a given time. Five performances will run in rotation on August 20 and 26 of the Festival.

This program is part of the Celebrating Art for Senior Engagement Festival through Maturity and Its Muse.
