Emilee Morton is a 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (UWSP) with a BA in Dance and Arts Management. At UWSP, Emilee was awarded the Kathryn Bukolt Dance scholarship and studied ballet, modern, jazz, tap and composition under professors and choreographers Joan Karlen, Michael Estanich, Jeannie Hill, Pamela Luedtke and guest artist Luc Vanier. Emilee moved to St. Louis a year ago to work as the company manager for MADCO (Modern American Dance Company) and became a part of the St. Louis dance community. Since living in St. Louis, Emilee has danced with Leverage Dance Theater, Karlovsky & Company Dance and has co-choreographed for the St. Louis Arts Alliance. Before moving, Emilee performed with Transcribing Dance Company in Wisconsin and studied music and dance abroad at the World Academy of Irish Music and Dance in Limerick. Emilee is a Balanced Body certified Pilates teacher at the Pilates and Yoga Center of Ladue.
